MCG - Opener - the excitement builds - the city is boiling and heaving - less than 24hrs to go

Good luck - thunderstorms tonight here in the sporting capital - tomorrow, what a fantastic opening game - two great rivals go head to head

Is Australia going to thrash the pants of England or is England going to be a banana skin at the first turn.

And its great to see Brian Lara on TV again.....

    Also Paul Collingwood coaching Scotland.! thats awesome - do you think we will see a set of lean scots with cat like fielding ability or will he instill the ability bat out 4 days in a gritty display of boycottian stolidity.

    Shouldn't Paul Collingwood be coaching England. He was good at this stuff. He won a (T20) World Cup!

    If there are storms, and we win the toss and put you in, Jimmy could swing you out for low 200s and we will win. By 1 wicket. In the 49th over.
    Otherwise the 40 over scores will be tight, but you'll outscore us by about 50+ in the last 10 overs.

    At least I can turn over at that point and watch the ruggers slaughter Italy. Maybe.
